Thomas Ridley Sharpe

Englischer Satiriker. Aufgewachsen in Croyden im Süden Londons, ging er nach dem Studium in Cambridge nach Südafrika, von wo er wegen seiner Ablehnung der Apartheid ausgewiesen 1961 wurde.

Seine berühmteste Figur, Henry Wilt, unterrichtet Literatur an einer Berufsschule.
